This is my little spot on the web to share photos with family and friends.

As for me, I'm 36 years old and a single parent of an amazing, wonderful 6 year old boy.

Interests include mostly firearms and reloading, but I can also be found hiking, camping, snow skiing and lounging at the beach. The outdoors are where I enjoy myself most.

Photography is something that I find challenging yet fun...I have no formal training, although I do a lot of reading and experimentation, and my abilities have progressed and improved over the years. I'm finally at a point where I think I'm turning out some decent shots.

As far as gear goes, I have Canon digital and film SLRs. Lenses range from L-glass all the way to the cheapest 50mm f/1.8. In my opinion, it's about the photographer and what they want that image to convey. I've been shooting a lot more film as of lately, and I doubt I'll go back to digital full time.

Shooting film makes me excited and nervous about what shots came out. When I drop that roll of film in the mailbox, I'm like a kid on Christmas morning waiting to open my presents. There is something special, unique and wholly encompassing about shooting film. It truly captures what I see when I look through the viewfinder.
